Take a size 10 hook and apply a coat of clear varnish to the hook shank.

Run the tying thread from the eye down to the bend of the hook.

Wind the lead wire around the hook shank in touching turns.

Secure the lead wire with the tying thread.

Tie in 0.12 mm diameter nylon.

Dub on some fur and wind up to just short of the centre of the hook.

Change the dubbing colour for a short centre section.

Revert to the original dubbing colour to finish and then rib the body with gold wire.

Tie a clear or coloured vinil strip behind the eye of the hook.

Bind down the overbody with vinil (rubber) foil to the bend of the hook.

Rib the body with nylon and make the body segmented.

Tie the head, whip finish, and varnish.
